Forex sentiment tool

See where forex traders are positioned.

Use live Myfxbook positioning data as a sentiment check alongside your technical and fundamental analysis.

Use sentiment as context, not conviction

Trader positioning offers a view into how a community of retail traders is currently exposed. It can highlight crowded markets and show whether long or short interest is becoming one-sided.

It cannot explain why price is moving or guarantee a reversal. Pair sentiment with price structure, liquidity, scheduled economic events, and a predefined loss limit. A good trade plan should still make sense if positioning changes after you enter.

Trader positioning FAQ

What is trader positioning?

Trader positioning shows the proportion of tracked accounts that are long or short a currency pair. It is a snapshot of sentiment, not a forecast.

Can I trade against trader positioning?

Extreme positioning can be useful context, but it is not a rule to trade against the crowd. Always check the chart, market conditions, and risk before acting.

How often does forex sentiment change?

Positioning can change as traders open or close trades. Treat the widget as a current snapshot and revisit it when market conditions change.
